What follows are brief descriptions of the other six. In PHASE II, DNA Taggants was listed as the only technology, so we’ve been assuming hands down we get the Phase II. Now Howard University's Infrared Marking technology isn't listed in the Phase I award winners, so they got something going.
This may be a rabbit hole here (reference to Alice in Wonderland, and running off on a different path). Several of these technologies, like the magnets, failed the extreme environment survivability conditions (HEAT/COLD/white Noise/). Got something somewhere on how the DNA tags in the markem INK held up real well. "TAMPER PROOF" But we'll see. May announcements coming up.
