Assuming we are talking the B+Y melanoma trial, that is a 3 week leed in.

In the Bavi arm, the patients will get 3 weeks with just Bavi, before getting the Bavi+Yervoy combination.

As a wild guess, they are doing this to get a little data on how Bavi itself performs.

As far as an early look at results, who knows. But they need some number of patients, and that will take more than a few months.
