I had a feeling the buying pressure would ease some as we approached 8.50-9 CDN for ANY. Some investors may still caught up on the individual share price and not the relative market cap, and may see Sphere as getting expensive for a buy.

The MM games being played are not uncommon. If the shorts are able to get off the hook at these levels and we don't get any material news for a while, it may impede a SS somewhat. Any period of dips at this point are likely short, and if it allows me to load more cheap shares, I am not going to complain.

My timeframe on this play is longer than some, but short-term may get interesting.
