Correct. Anyone wanting to sell wildcard with a market Ask is not manipulation. It might be called something else. The first bid it encountered was a bid at 0006, and it filled the Ask.
The only interesting question is how many claimed bids at 004-005 are really out there relative to stink bids? Maybe those placing the stink bids are to blame for the discomfort of some on this forum yesterday? For example if 100 posters have bids in at 0002-0006, and 10 posters have bids in at 004-005, the law of probabilities says the stink bids have 10X the chance of getting hit by a Market Ask in the grey market.
In the end both sides got what they wanted. One side sold immediately, with little waiting. The other side got a potential flip trade from 0006--> 006.
