BREAKING! Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE:GG) just let its $3.9B takeover bid for Osisko expire. This was reported less than an hour ago! Maybe Goldcorp Inc. has its sights set on someone else?

Goldcorp has cash and they want producing mines. Banro has two producing mines with two more showing proven reserves and they need cash. Seems like a great match to me!

BTW - I did sticky that Buyout post. Although I forgot about the May 12th shareholder meeting notice which has 45 days advance...but maybe it'll be like when Nokia had its hardware division bought by Microsoft recently. They announced it and then Nokia sent the proxy out to shareholders a couple weeks later.
