ALL IN2: I agree with your post! Personally I really despise shorters. I have never shorted a stock and I never will but I have bought Puts on individual stocks and bought Puts on an Index. I did buy a bunch of Puts on Value Jet Airlines when they crashed a plane in Florida and I bought a bunch of Puts on an Index just prior to the 1987 crash. I believe that shorting a stock hurts the investors in that company and that is wrong. If I'm negative on a company and Puts are not available I will just move on to something else.
