The reverse splits I have seen on penny stocks were to keep the number of outstanding shares out of the realm of ridiculousness.
In the case of SGLB, the only hope to avoid a reverse split is earnings. Without solid earnings the RS is inevitable. With earnings we can dodge it. As for now, it is an unknown. Hopefully, we will know sooner than later.
