Remember the multiple cities that had a prime focus location on his trip? I believe prime focus is helping develop atlas films to get the films ready for market, not the company itself.

my guess is that Atlas MAY show a slate of new movies at Cannes.
and they just have to get them ready...
It is hard to say since last year probably was slow at Atlas since they signed MoU last June; we know that they are supposed to have a few movies a year for Medient so they may just have to catch up on everything...

This year we know that they have one showing ('Der letzte Mentsch') at Cannes

Also I think Atlas is a distributer for Yellow so that needs to be wrapped up since they are going to announce a date of release at Cannes;
