I suppose that could be true if you don't need any reference documents or you don't need to move around a lot in your documents or don't need to insert special characters or mathematical symbols and diagrams.

The iPad still doesn't support a mouse.

The bluetooth keyboards give you two things:

1) The ability to type quickly
2) More screen space to see what you're typing

In Japan, people write novels on mobile phones. While it is cool that they can do that, I'd prefer to do my writing where I can reference other works, collaborate with others on my content and have spell check, grammar check and writing analysis tools handy.
