I am not sure how many cells go into one GenDrive unit or how many GenDrive units replace a battery.

They could be shipping 300,000 Ballard cells within 10,000 GenDrive "batteries" ie unit that replaces a battery for installation purposes.

PLUGs strength is in system integration designing the packaging controls, input and exhaust systems to route hydrogen in from tank and route water away safely, gauges to show capacity etc.

I believe an actual single cell is quite small so linking many together into one unit is especially tricky.

Article is really bad talking geography when in reality you should talk vertical markets. BLDP has 4 verticals but only one is growing significantly - materials handling with plug who are now moving into 3 more with govt grants
