TEMN I do that myself. Quick example:
I need money to get into another play I've been checking out for a week waiting for my conditions to be met ie: support lines confirmed, volume increase, things like that...
I'm in TEMN but down 10% because we've been consolidating and I bought last week. I log in today and I really want in that other play and my other positions are looking better than TEMN so I look for an exit somehow. I have 2mil shares but noone is bidding more than 100k... So I watch and wait for someone to bid more. Notice that 818k on .0063 for a little while? Perfect opportunity for me to dip out almost half of my position to put it in that other stock. SO I do go for it and sell into it. L2 tells me there's another mil all the way down to .0057... Sure I might take a few hundred dollar loss but this other play will make up for it in a day or two so I do it.
I've taken the pps back down but only because there was no support. If I had tried to do that from .0055 I would have had to sell for maybe a couple grand in losses to .005.
And that's why it seems people are bid whacking when in all reality it's small traders playing around right now. That guy would have happily sold on the ask IF there was buying pressure, but without it he's "stuck" until someones willing to buy large portions of shares somewhere around his entry. So when you see 2mil bid support at these levels, don't be surprised that someone who bought at .005 2mil shares to whack it @ .006 so he only has to pay (1) commission fee vice 4-5 in smaller lots... which is the other part of trading - commission fees. I'd rather get mine out all in one shot than spend 100 dollars trying to break up a couple mil lot.
