Perhaps. However, I'm not sure they are committed to the business or have the right personnel. If they were, they would have found a way to make it happen instead of taking the easy path. It isn't easy to run a business and things will be hard. If they can't handle the press or address things in the public limelight, then they may not be in the right business or may need to find someone who can. IMO
Business is business. A simple smile and we are here to talk product not lock statement would be acceptable, there is nothing to show up for the show about and that is why they are not going, they would use the opportunity to advance the company and promote if they had something and they do not.
