At some point, you really can't short very well. It is hard to panic weak hands when you have traders looking for a great op

You can't short well when buying pressure starts to overwhelm you. That's what consolidation means. Price fluctuations bringing the pps closer to neutral, -0-.

No one is making significant profits, buyers or shorter. That's when the move is made, imo. The Hedge Funds will "change hands." After pushing down the price for a long time, they will allow their newly accumulated shares to rise on momo. Then it is up to everyone else to jump in.

At the next peak they will short again, starting the cycle anew, both ways are the profit cycles.

Hedge Funds and Institutional Traders are always there, up or down. The game is to see their cycles. ;)
