You won't have to look...there are no examples to even convince yourself. HD can do anything...but they won't use dumb financial associations with sick companies. There is no volume...there is no relationship that amounts to any value. There isn't a CFO who could Fog a mirror that crawl into bed with a company like this. They wouldn't touch or associate with that debt. Could they make an asset purchase? sure...but that leaves the ECOB holding a monumental bag of poop only. Besides...theres nothing to buy.
Good luck with that dream because that's a dandy.
BTW, no one convinces me in or out of a security...the homework does, the balance sheet, debt and types of funding do. That's reality. Hope IMO is a bad investing strategy.
