Small true, but what's the difference between being the CEO of a Fortune 1000 company versus a Fortune 50? Other than compensation, no difference.

The over thinking if you will is because of the use of traditional corporate structures to explain the management of these companies, and the lack of any tangible information regarding the relationship. Most companies separate the roles of CEO and COB, and again; I know of none that has a single person be in those roles for two separate companies. Pink land should be no different if you are going to use those titles to explain your relationship with a given business.
