Everyone is saying that, but I still didn't see the article where it is mentioned... All I see is that they are still using them...

And what would be the reason they are out? It can't be because of quality or price. I've seen on, and the display is awesome...

We've heard that but it is difficult to confirm. I believe I read it from a CES writeup by an industry pundit, but the Sony websites I looked at a couple weeks ago that describe the TV's still say QD's are used in the models that were touted by QDV. I found another site that said they are using the Triluminos branding for TV's with AND without QD's, so that may be why there is confusion.
