Frustrated... With respect to your opinion, how do you know that PPHM doesn't have a potential partner(s) sitting in the wings waiting for certain criteria to be met/resolved before announcing?
The party-line/excuse on that is that now we REALLY know what we have and we won't give it away for anything less than a trillion dollars. It works much better than "we were close to a deal with an established and credible bp and they walked away and took a long shower after realizing what our management team was all about". To take it further, as quite a few have, we are all extremely lucky that Abbvie walked away. People believe what they want to believe.
