yeah..it's a bit hard to figure. Right now..the losses in the Mobile group are essentially wiping out the profits in the Server group..I guess people figure it can't get any worse than that...

Intel's gross margin profile is better-than-expected, 14nm is in production, and now the analysts are actually "modelling in" mobile. On top of all of that, PC sales have stabilized and DCG is back to double-digit growth.

The mobile product picture is still iffy, but for the first time the market actually believes that Intel will be successful long-term. The light at the end of the tunnel is finally visible, and given the short interest and the secular bull market, that's all that's needed for the stock price to go up.

not really; remember Kurlak of Merryl Flinch, not to talk about the EU pricks a-la Kroes ...

The real difference is that folks use to post one line at a time while the Intel execs were holding the conf call
