#16014 RE: fluffhead #16007

fluffhead ... I don't ...

believe we're going to experience any "massive short squeeze" here. The only ones shorting ADTM on a daily basis are the market makers and perhaps some high risk day traders.

No one in their right mind would short this particular OTC stock for any lenght of time due to the hefty margin requirements placed on it by the brokerage firms and the distinct possibility of a sharp upturn of the share price without any notice. The almost nonexistent outstanding short position bears this out, also ...

Furthermore, in connection with OTC stocks, you can find yourself in direct competition for buying shares with the market makers whether you're trying to cover a short position or just buying to establish an intermediate or long term position. Market makers are quite capable of buying shares from right underneath you despite your high bid, and they won't hesitate to do so if they want to cover their short position ... I can speak from experience on this one.

I've been around quite a long time and I can't tell you how many times I've seen "short squeezes" mentioned , and even hyped, that just never materialized.

This is just my 2 cents, FWIW ... others, of course, may have differing opinions.
