Thank you for your empathetic response (a rarity on these boards).

After 12 days, the medical status looks much better, but still uncertain as to the long-term outcome. Although most people eventually go through these episodes with loved ones in their life, it is not easy when it is in the process of happening, especially when one is legally authorized to make medical decisions for the loved one.

Nuff said. Thanks for getting "out of the box" of EDIG (something few here do).
