Very good posts. Let's hope Phot blows over and Fitx takes the field. I think the fact 25 percent of the company was sold is better then questionable stock deals.

Maven, the newest building is the $800,000.00 building. You can pull the permits and view that information. The price for the first building is not listed but the price is on the permit for the second building.

Earlier Bill did state, it is matter of public record, that he had received all the approvals at the time of the statement from the town and had received approval from Health Canada (because he had sent in a letter of ready to build). Both statements turned out to be false, he then refused to answer as to why he had issued those statements. The town still has yet to approve this new operation. On the Facebook page, questions were asked. When Bill first stated they were simply growing and harvesting, a question was asked. Bill if corn was being grown there and harvested, sorted, packaged, and frozen, would that not be called processing so if you are growing marijuana, harvesting it, drying it, sorting it, packaging it and shipping it, would that not be called processing? Bill removed that question. To me, that is the crux of the matter with the town. The town clearly stated if the operations involved less than 6000 sq. ft and fewer than 5 employees, no zoning change would be required. Obviously with his boast of providing 1.2 million pounds of product he is going to be more than doing just some modest "milling" type of operation. Secondly, none of the permits mention CEN Biotech, and the ocmpany itself, the legal federal entitiy, had no applications on file with the town for such a facility and processing. They may have clearly stated their intentions to the town in November, no question, but they never followed through. Considering Bils boast of their urban planning consultants and the opinions of his legal counsel, up to a week ago the company still had no application before the town to consider - and the town would require that to see if they could meet the requirements. They likely could since they were made aware of it in November but the town, all towns, still have to go through the approved processes of becoming approved. They had not, despite Bills assertion to the contrary. Why do people still wag their finger at the town when it is clearly Bill who did not have the proper paperwork completed. Will he get approvals? I see no reason why he would not but if it goes to the Ontario Municipal Board then who knows? I for one would not see any advantages to the town or the municipality for turning this down. That being said, note the words I used..."would not see any advantages to the town or the ..." Nothing is a given and though this would be advantageous to the town, it might not fall within land use protocols all towns have going forward.

You and other posters are correct. All of this was stated to the town BUT the company simply did not apply. They, like others have to follow protocols for any project and as of last week they had not. When he made the earlier statements in January he had received all the approvals from the town, the reporter uncovered then he had in fact not received all approvals. Why did he not then correct that deficiency? Ask Bill, because as of last Monday he still had not.

It is easy to understand. Let's dumb it down. Mom, dad, it is my intent to cut the grass and then I will ask you for permission to go away for the weekend. Great son, good to hear it. Lovely boy.

Mom dad, since I have cut the grass I am going away for the weekend. But son, the grass has not been cut so no, you can't go away.

But mom, dad, all my friends are depending on me and I told you I was going away this weekend, you can't say you did not know. Son, we just you a sternly worded text about this. Your cousin came over and filled up the lawnmower with grass, and left out the rakes for you but you still have not done what you were promised and it was your cousin who got the equipment out, not you!

Friends to son. So can you go? Everything is cool, my parents and I talk all the time and have good lines of communication. God Bless Mom. God Bless Dad.

So does this mean you will will cut the grass so we can go away this weekend? Shutup with these stupid questions! Friends text is deleted.
