That's even better then for SIPC. That means that their lawyer is on board with what they are trying to do. That's a very good thing.
They can now simply go to another Transfer Agent or become their own Transfer Agent like I had previously posted. Personally, I would rather they find another qualified/registered Transfer Agent versus becoming their own since such is known as the market norm/standard, but whatever works out is fine.
I'm expecting to hear of a remedy soon since this seems to be something that they were aware of for a while now. I'm confident that the SIPC management understands all possible solutions.
