maninfla -- as with essentially all of the ruinous policies, practices and results these 'Republicans' have delivered unto us (and unto the rest of the world), I think this is an instance of something other than mere, even possibly somehow at all innocent, incompetence

I see extreme, gross and violent corruption, not only in the sense of graft and fraud, but even moreso in the sense of a fundamental and thoroughgoing corruption of the very nature of government itself, turning it into an illegitimate bastardization standing directly opposite what it should be and directly against the principles and values it should, and indeed by law must, embody and defend

and I see said extreme, gross and violent corruption as being precisely as these 'Republicans' competently enough wanted and planned, precisely as they competently enough designed and intended -- and as being an as-yet far from finished work in progress
