That chart distorts the fact that the QQQQ moved from an "equity" option to an index option sometime in early 2005. You can't compare anything in 2004 with the present if you're doing that ratio, IMO.

It's a mistake, the cboe site has a 0.74 value for today

maybe more interesting is if there is a relationship between a mistake and the next day
