Yep that is the next blood moon and tax day also. Here is the facts. It starts at 2:07AM CDT and will end at 3:25Am CDT on Tuesday morning. As it happens, there's a total lunar eclipse on April 15, 2014, which means we'll experience not only a "Full Pink Moon" (any full moon that occurs in April, per Native American tradition) and a "Paschal Full Moon" (the first full moon after the vernal equinox, per Christian tradition), but also, thanks to the eclipse, a "Blood Moon." The moon will transform to a very vivid copper red that is visible across the lower 48.
Blood moons are also by folklore any full moon in October or referred to the Full Hunters Moon.
In many religions this is linked to prophecy of upheaval in the world. Fact is this cycle will have four over 2014 and 2015 and they will fall on a significant Jewish holiday. Just a tidbit of trivia.
