Good questions...
It may be that SONY is just focused on the broadcaster to broadcaster communications for right now.
If the Nuvola NP-1 is the only game in town for the lower bandwidth communications and output to TV's then obviously NTEK is in quite a nice position (at least for the time being). imo

Decoders are one thing and output to TV's is another. What device can do it at a quality level and price which is attractive for end user consumers? Nuvola NP-1...imo
