Honestly, I have wondered that myself. But my theory is that it's an affinity scam praying on the elderly, Christians or other marks who they can market to in a more traditional off-line approach.
I think these scumbags realize that they get shot down online, just like their affiliation with MDGC which is now in the dirt forever. So they're going back to grassroots and preying on people who have no means of doing real due diligence.
I'm going to do everything I can to shut these conmen down.
