I agree Ruby.. If the engineers at Chevron were truly shaking there heads, it would have to be a find so big it made there earlier projections look foolish.
I think the JDZ is one big puddle of oil. IMHO

Ruby1100, no offence, but the math doesn't work that way. You do not add the respective percentages to reach a combined percentage of participation. Averaging the percentages would be closer to the actual facts. ERHC will average a 20% free carry in Bl 2 and Bl 4. Under your scenaro ERHC would get an excess of 140% free carry if it had 100% of Bl 3 instead of 10%. Make sense?

Don't spend it until it's in the bank.

Ruby,
Blk 2 692km2 X 23% = 159.16
Blk 4 857km2 x 17% = 145.69
(say)blk 3 666km2 X 10%= 66.6

Totals for 3 blcks 2215 km2 of which ERHE has potential rights to 371.45 KM2 or 16.8% of blck 2,3 and 4 total. I think they will end up with more, but I just wanted to do the math. If I screwed up the math, blame my kids and Avatar!

PS I now read that people responded to your math, sorry didn't mean to sound that I was ganging up on you.
