Charley Rose did a whole show last night on this, interviewing the author of the book that just came out this week on this subject.
Some companies were running direct fiber optic to the exchange. Others moved their physical location next to exchange to shorten the distance signal needs to travel. Now, the thing is mounting microwave dishes on cell towers for the fastest signal.
We have to fight this on top of taxes cutting down our odds- we need to be good to win!
