By the way, patents expire every day. Take the light switch for example. Light switches still seen quite necessary, right? In other words, patents do not control demand for a product, only supply, and demand do (Economics 101). Supply and demand is perhaps one of the most fundamental concepts of economics and it is the backbone of a market economy. Sound familiar?
