I'm not against them at all...in fact I took them because I enjoy them. I wish more people loved math the way I do.

However, my experience in the real business world is that it's not necessary and not used often. Therefore, I don't think it should be a do or die requirement for getting a high school diploma. And further more, I think calculus should be required for only certain kinds of college degrees.... where it really makes sense.
