Presumably, we will get the news by the EOW.. either way we know it is essentially done and this is a special time for savvy traders to load.

Share price my go down as novices/impatient get discouraged from a lack of immediately price appreciation.

Also, deep pockets might manipulate the prices down so they can shake some shares out and load up for the wild ride north.
