Not saying NTEK is linked with Amazon but,

"There are numerous Android based dongles and set top boxes designed as Miracast receivers but Amazon declines to promote any of them, this is strange considering how good Amazon is at targeting their message to entice customers to use their one touch purchasing methods among other things. There are also no informational articles about AirPlay or DIAL. Why would Amazon make a point to advertise Miracast, without highlighting any products for purchase and exclude an explanation of the two other major media transfer methods? The only answer that makes sense to me is that Amazon will be promoting their own streamer as Miracast ready."

The Tegra4 is optimized for Miracast: http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20130715006458/en/NanoTech-Selects-NVIDIA-Tegra-4-Power-Nuvola#.Uzle69xICKg

Amazon "Firetube" http://thestreamingadvisor.com/2014/03/31/amazon-firetube-likely-to-be-announced-tuesday-what-will-the-firetube-do/#more-2561

US Patent for "Firetube": http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=86073839&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch

It may be just as likely that anyone designing an OTT device is going to the Tegra4 just like NTEK and they are not related. If they were related, I'm sure there is an NDA contract that NTEK is bound to in which case we may NOT be given any info on this.
