Everyone should read this: MM manipulation is purely for swing pressure. They move the stock to create an artificial demand (whether it's biased on either side of the demand is irrelevant). It often confuses investors if they aren't aware of what is actually going on, which in turn causes them to take a loss. ILIV is a prime example of a stock being manipulated. In situations like this its a gold mine when played correctly. The MM's have been keeping the PPS low to build pressure for a tremendous upswing. They do this for two reasons: One, to entice the weak and impatient investors to sell. Two, to buy the shares that are being sold. They do this for as long as they want, generally until a big PR is released. Once the PR is released and headlined, they let it go and the downward pressure (and oversold stance) bounces it up followed by a massive run (which is normally caused by the ones who sold earlier trying to buy back in) and of course new investors that always follow suit. It all seems so easy but it's very complex. When you see a stock being held down it does NOT always mean there will be a bounce or a run it could also be for other reasons and should not be taken for granted. When I see heavy stock manipulation I always trade cautiously because manipulation can cause dramatic problems in the charts. When the charts and the performance down line up the PPS is in what I call "limbo" and can go either way. I have seen charts that point up in every direction (even true golden crosses) yet the stock tanks because of manipulation and panic selling. Vice versa as well. I'm not trying to scare anyone on the board, just keeping it honest. I still advise everyone to trade smart, don't trade with emotion and don't be greedy. Greed always loses in the end.
