I recall Turner " Tubby Turner " him and his Dad got fixed on the same day. Dad was 3, Turner was 1. Turner came home, got on my bed and started to cry a bit. I gave him a pain med, and later some sedation to just knock him out for the evening. Next day, Turner was just fine. All the Vet swill say to keep the dog's fairly quiet for 7 to 10 days.. Ya right... I however would be more concerned with a female vs a male getting fixed, because the procedure is much more invasive with internal concerns.
