The word had is misstated idk of they sold any or not. If they were just given away then I'm sure they weren't trying to sell then halfway through decided to just give them away. I'm sure it was a decision made ahead of time. IMHO you'll get a lot more to try something new, anything new, when they don't have to pay for the first time trying it.
