I'm sure we'll hear something prior to the 11AM CC on Monday even if it is just that the CC is cancelled.

As one member pointed out they did say intends which lets them off the hook.

Why this happened is anyone's guess and probably depends on their state of mind. If they are a pessimist they may think that Banro added an extra zero to the amount of gold produced in Q4. That would be bad indeed. An optimist however may think that since China Gold just inked a deal with Ivanhoe they took a quick jaunt over to Banro and inked a deal with them too.

The most likely scenario based on my experience is the CEO and CFO signed off on it. Then it was sent to the auditors which as you all know are wet noodles and they found a two T's that weren't crossed and an undotted I and so they weren't able to file by the EDGAR deadline which I believe is 6:30PM for financials but it could be later like 11PM.

I'm not panicking. I think they intended to release financials yesterday and it didn't happen, simple as that. From my research Banro has followed through very well on its boasts. In 2011 they said a little over 200,000 ounces of gold in 2014. In 2011 they didn't even have a mine in production! We find out April 10th if they have a chance to make good on that and if they do I will be a very happy camper!
