The fact that the survey has been encouraging isn't what is proprietary. What the survey showed, as in the basins extent and structure, is. Apparently we won't be hearing those details.

Knowing that it is "highly protected" and "valuable intellectual property" is comforting.

People maintain anonymity for a reason and it is rarely noble.
