where's the best chowder in boston?????

my daughters both went to Northeastern, a fantastic school... (Garnick's place, btw!) one moved back to beantown from cali, so i still get up there often..but have not found great chowder yet in 12 years.

gwen, somebody...tell me where the folks-in-the-know go for the best seafood in greater boston, with chowder that isn't 40% flour-to-be-unnaturally-thick. i'm looking for chowders that are a little thinner...and Rhode Island chowder works, too...

No-Name and Legal Seafood are both out, along with the Sail Loft...
