What I can't understand how everyone was so surprised, they were in the process of selling the company, thank goodness it now goes to auction. If the bidding process is an open one there is a good chance the company will be bidded at a price substantially below a fair value but higher then the initial bid. If the bidiing is done like in real estate we are screwed. Everyone wants to steal something when they can but I still fell there is a lot more value than the current stalking horse bid. As such why does everyone feel that a better offer may not come about?
