there is also that FDA shut down of 23andme that confuses me in all of this. On one side you have a Google company = 23andme being shut down by the FDA pretty much and the flip side we have another Google off-shoot in CALICO doing pretty much the same thing ( it seems ) as 23andme.

Maybe its political and maybe CALICO needs to collaborate with the right entity (MD Anderson) to get this going.... and hopefully Peregrine is front and center of it all

The FDA says only medical tests that have been cleared by the government are permitted to make such claims.

Gates has a longstanding interest in biotechnology. In 2001, BusinessWeek called biotech Gates’ “other passion,” noting his large stake and board seat in ICOS, since sold to Eli Lilly, and his investment in a Seattle cancer drug company called Corixa. But lately Gates’ interest has seemed more focused on the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and when he is mentioned in drug industry circles it is usually for his vaccine work. Could this be a change? It’s a small investment, especially for Gates; we’ll just have to wait and see.

I think its the events like this one... and Dmitry Gabrilovich in Greece (in June) talking MDSC's and Notch signaling that just further brings the MOA of Bavituximab to those that need those dots connected instead of listening to us hopium filled Bavi addicts. lol
