Alterra Power is still showing some hefty lingering side effects from stepping into a giant cowpie in Iceland and, much worse, Ross Beaty has learned the wrong lessons IMNSVHO.

Still geothermal power and, to a much smaller extent, run-of-river power dominate revenues and prospects for the future over the welfare, sometime energy, weaklings of wind and solar.

If anyone wants to discuss the benefits of work over welfare, I would be glad to accommodate them but this is not the greatest forum.

Maybe it would be helpful to note that I was an investor in geothermal pioneer B. C. McCabe's Magma Power from a long ago time. B.C. was eventually destroyed by a hostile takeover by Union Oil. Oh sure it made B.C. a very wealthy man but B.C. was a visionary who saw the future of geothermal irretrievably damaged by a vulture. As a callous, thoughtless youth, I foreclosed much of my own future by spending the early ill-gotten gains on a college education. Geothermal was then and is now the cheapest, most potent energy source on earth - far exceeding all others combined. But try telling that to the self-styled environmentalists and fossil fuel con artists.
