Yeah, that was sad news. The Petty family has done so much for the sport, but lots more for humanity. Their commitment to "The Victory Junction Gang" is just one example of True Grit and bona fide American heroism at its best.

I only know The King slightly, but I did a television commercial with Kyle just before the sad mishap in Louden that claimed Adam's young life. That was a very sad day in my life.

God Bless this fine family that has endured a lot in recent times.
