GACR Mind Candy

I was poking fun at Tim Sykes on behalf of short sellers. He's made a living of shorting small cap stocks and is fairly famous. He also started his own hedge fund.

I'm not at liberty to discuss some of the details I've uncovered that keeps me long on GACR even in the face of unrealized losses, but I'm confident that if you stay focused on Liberty Electric Cars (LEC) and Newport Coachworks (NWI) you may draw similar conclusions about the growth potential. Google is freely accessible. :)

I once thought Ian Hobday was crazy when he talked about 1,000 mile cars and perpetual energy (actually, a highly efficient motor), but a few months of digging around and my due dilligence has turned me into an LEC believer, and by proxy NWI, and therefore GAC. Again, some of the things I learned cannot be discussed. In fact, I've withheld additional purchases of shares since learning about these things, because I'm not positive that puts me in a position of insider trading (any legal experts here?). I don't honestly think the information was supposed to have been publicly accessible online (and has since been removed by way of robots.txt), but here's some mind candy.

LEC has worked with Thane Heins from Potential Difference Inc. (just another of many partnerships and collaborative works) on a more energy efficient motor (ReGen-X) for electric vehicles (EV) in order to increase range and lower battery consumption. Combined with improvements in battery techologies, Ian has been quoted as stating 2014 to be the pivotal year, with his oft quoted 1,000 mile EV at the forefront. I watched several demonstrations and reviewed technical reviews on the demo and conclude that at minimum, it's a highly efficient motor. Read the slideshare proposition to Sir Richard Branson and the quoted reviews yourself:

Scroll down to read some other slideshares of Heins'.

If you watch the Youtube video of a demonstration uploaded TWO DAYS AGO by the man himself, look carefully at the demo motor enclosure around the 5:15 frame. You'll see a familiar logo of a green bird or crane.

On it reads: Liberty Electric Cars.

If you think this is a hoax and impractical, get this: Volvo just announced TODAY that they're testing a similar KERS (kinectic energy recovery system - http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinetic_energy_recovery_system) technology.

When it comes to EV, LEC is definitely a leader. Imperial Coachworks needed help creating a Nissan Leaf electric limo:

And who was consulted? LEC:

And LEC is at the forefront of the race. Just one of the many tidbits I uncovered during my investigations that keeps me long. It's unfortunate I can't talk about the rest. I like to quote things I can link, not things retroactively removed or pulled from search engines.
