Monitise wants to be at the heart of all money transactions byway of partnering with banks. Those transactions would be interesting to amazon, FB and google who are involved with transactional apps and/or ads. I'm not sure they can get a place at the table though since trust will be a big part of what VISA/MC/Monitise will be putting in place. A company like FB getting involved would taint what they are trying to accomplish IMO.

I'm not hoping for a buyout, I'm waiting for the company to execute on it's promises.
