I also have tdameritrade and that is how I do it. I do it limit if you put in market the stock can open at a lot lower then what you want. I have a limit order in to buy. Anyways just put s limit order in it will be better for you. I have 2 stock accounts one with tdameritrade and 1 with scottrade.
