Dane: So the Prurisol "trial" PR'd today will be using people who do not have psoriasis. Amazing!! Can you imagine our Phase I for Kevetrin at DF being done performed on people who DON'T have cancer?!? WTF!! I admit to being a babe in the woods as far as biotech is concerned, which is why I read these boards hoping to find great DD. As former aerospace test engineer, I lived by rule "test like you fly". And this "test" leaves much to be desired as far as I am concerned. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease, meaning something is going on in the bodies of the people who have it that is NOT going on in the bodies of the people who don't have it. Perhaps that something will have an effect on workings of Prurisol that will never be seen in until a lot of money has been put into the 600 person test. Kinda scary. I could understand using "healthy" test subjects if CTIX was dealing with a rare disease, but that is not the case here.
P.S. Sorry if this sounds like I am blaming you for this, cause I don't.
