Entirely agree with risk...

hold 170k shares and have been a holder since 2012 when company was unfortunately much more richly valued. I think idea is phenomenal but there are so many pitfalls.

- test to scale of 4 ft against build of 2250 ft... lot room for error

- Funding: Who is going pony up a Billion dollars on a major major major risk. IMO... Governments no way a private investor will touch it

- licensing/building requirements: still a lot of work here to do

- Build team: presuming funding there is a lot of prep/planning for a build as one has never been built before I presume growing pains.

Been a surge in renewables but mainly for proven wind/solar. Sure they don't produce as much but they are field tested and work. At this valuation its a lot easier to get in but my take hasn't change in 2 years its make or break. I don't get outta bed for a few hundred so for me I am in long on this as sink or swim with heavy probability of sink. Project build is 2018 but who's footing the bill? I think LOI recently publicized is gimmicky and I have my reservations due to the logic that barrier of funding is so extraordinarily high that IMO your either in or out on this venture. I only see a govt considering this... I'm hoping perhaps India or another foreign government more into renewable tech gives this a shot as USG will not likely consider it.
