lol, ok, I'll try to explain it to ya -

Any ticker related to growing or selling products related to consuming marijuana is considered "an MJ stock" -

Some of course are not legit - some like VGPR are legit and entering the space for company profit and shareholder value -

You may have missed the 2013 referendums legalizing marijuana in some places just went into effect on Jan 1, 2014. Medical MJ and hemp has been going on for a while now.

The hemp and MJ industry as a legal business model is just really beginning - if you sell products that growers can use, you offer it to them - easy.

Bottom line is however, entering a brand new multi-billion$ market means profits and shareholder value are anticiapted - hence the value of the equity rises - simple economics -

Biochar Now is already selling such products to growers in Colorado and maybe Washington State. Hence VGPR seeks them out as a strategic partner or maybe even a JV - why not they are both biochar -

Have you ever run a business? I have. There are two ways to grow a business. 'Organically' on your own, or by partnership/merger/acquisistion -

The latter is easier because inftrastructures, resources, and existing clients can be combined and cross-mined, then grown further -

Today's news of a new strategic alliance with someone already in MJ is that of a smart business move for Vega - the dumb way would be to try to do it all by yourself with no partnerships - takes way longer and less guarantee of success -

This PR today is actually misleading if you go by what the new Director said:

Mr. Gaspard stated, "The biochar industry is transitioning from research and development into manufacturing and delivery of product. The legal marijuana growers in Colorado that we are selling biochar to are experiencing tremendous results. However, in order for this industry to grow and keep up with the tremendous demand for biochar worldwide, it is important for individuals with knowledge and expertise in the public markets to get involved. This is why I am excited to work with Mr. Molen and Vega's management team."

Clearly here he is setting up that he is going to be "WORKING" with Vega, not just be their "ADVISOR". He is calling out Vega's expertise right here and he probably wants a piece of their coal action. They combine resources and cross profit - that's what I read - imo

Looking at Biochar Now website it looks like they and Vega are perfect to team up as strategic partners - imo

Then watching the video that was posted here of James Gaspard speaking at the forum, he is only looking for smart people, not fools. He even says so much in his speech admonishing some industry players for not being smart in their business approaches -

So that he would team up with Vega means something. He also said in that piece he's a former attorney so there is even more to like there - imo
