There are many Tom Elliot's in NY. A few are lawyers. Couldn't see any listed as scientists.

Of the lawyers one is a divorce lawyer, one does family law, one is a straight litigator.

Perhaps its a rumor spread by law clerks?

Maybe by the end of today the rumor will expand to:

Tom Elliot works for an M&A firm in New York and they just inked the deal to sell ILNS for $1 billion dollars to a guy named Dr. Evil.

Wouldn't that be shag-a-delic?
